Nautilus-submarine

I was waiting a long time while ordering the first 1/700 Nautius. During that time the bigger 1/350 Nautilus was published so I got that first. 

 

Some misalignment in the 3D-print. 

I opened the windows. The resin is quite hard and fragile. 

Trying to fix some cracks with CA-glue. 

Windows coming up with this method. 

Small round window. 

LEDs to be added inside. 

Fuselage-halves joined and seam smoothed. 

Black primer and my attemp of a pre-shading. 

Vallejo burnt metal added next. 

Added dark black grey and it's already on weathering stage. 

Sawing and cutting windows. 

I made a lot of windows before painting. 

Windows in place 

The smaller 1/700 Nautilus got already completed. 

Next is the stand. The tube is glued in place.
