AH-1Z 'Viper'

Beautiful helicopter and model. Detail is great, let's see how goes together. 

Interior and most subassemblies done. 

The two halves went together like a dream. 

Great fit and easy assembly. Almost ready for painting. 

Heavy handed pre-shading after a whole day trouble -shooting the airbrush. The needle seal has disintegrated, a new one in in the post.  

Underside color done. Not totally happy with the pre-shading, but it'll do for now. 

Top colour went well, bit it looks too blue to me.  

Painting nearly done. I'm really happy with the results. Millions of mistakes, and the blue gray looks too blue, but I am happy, and I haven't broken the probe, yet... 

Almost ready for weathering.
