A rebox of the old Airfix Esso Tanker car... you can tell by the copious amounts of flash just how old these moulds are.

Relatively straightforward build. Filled in unnecessary holes and drilled a couple of better placed ones.

Added shafts to connect all the brakes.

Got some paint on, but more putty and sanding will be necessary.

More putty, sanding and painting... now for a new ladder scratched up from some wire.

Ladder done and the platforms are glued in place.

Time to get started on the base. I set a pattern in angel clay, now it has to dry and shrink for a few days.

Added some wire railings. The tank still needs a bit more yellow, but almost there.

Got the metal trim painted and the decal applied. I kinda screwed up the yellow paint job, but it’s not terribly noticeable once all the other bits are on.
