Damn. Well the 1/48 had a good run 😄

There is already quite a lot of buzz online about this kit. It should make Airfix a tall stack of money. I know from the CADs that I am already planning to get my usual "Short Stack" of them when they come out. (of course, we all know how hard it is to keep those stacks short)
Maybe RAM will get their second 1/72 sheet and the stencils sheet done in time for the Airfix release.

I know it will be a great kit but I have to stick to 1/48. At least they are doing a Walrus and a Sea Fury.

They also have a P-40 and not that old - Hurrys and Spits! So let us, 72nd scale mosellers, also get something 😄

In the picture above the slats seem to be moveable and the wings seem to be foldable. I see a lot of future kitbashing occuring in my short/tall stack!

The P-40 was a yank one 🙁 Doesn't count! 😄 I want to do a Desert Air Force subject. But yes, this looks like a detailed model with lots of options.

Playtime: I only found out about the Airfix 1/48 Walrus earlier today – very interesting! 🙂

As a follow up,,,,,,,RAM does have their second sheet up for sale. And just kidding, but, you 1/48 guys got two new Phantom ranges in the last couple of years. You should be as glad for the 1/72 guys as we have been for you 1/48 folks.

Just jealous cos this one looks so good. I have a Revell FGr2 in the stash but now I'm wondering if there is a better one out there? Checking... [Edit] Looks like I'm safe as the Revell is a rebox of the unavailable 1988 Hasegawa.

Oh, I understand. But, just in case you didn't know, RAM makes the same decals in 1/48 that are on their 1/72 sheets. Just in case you want some different markings.

Cool. Will take a look. The intention is for a mid1970s era before they went grey.
