figuring out the best way to place it on a flight stand (flight stand base just temporary) 

first coat of metallic paint 

 

It was nerve-wracking to damage a perfectly fine model 😄 it's not clear how the exact Me 262s look like that encountered the 332nd. From what I read they were from the Jagdgeschwader 7, thus I'm looking to create a suitable scheme that's green and green-brown on the top and light grey on the bottom.
