About:: IPMS – Houston welcomes you to Modelmania – Houston’s largest, fine-scale model show. The show is open to the general public and is attended by many from all over the state and region. Each year, on average, 600 scale models are entered in the contest. The show is located in the Stafford Centre, just southwest of the heart of Houston at 10505 Cash Road, Stafford, TX.

Adults: $10 - First Model Entry and then $2 - Each Additional Model
Juniors: $5 - First Model Entry and then $1 - Each Additional Model
Beginners: $1- Each Model

Children (age 5 & under): Free

Opening hours:: ModelMania is open to all modelers and all models, any subject and any scale. You do not have to have a club affiliation or be a member of IPMS USA to enter. The contest opens at 9:00 AM local time. Judging starts at 1:00 PM and ends at 4:00 PM, local time. Awards are presented when judging is completed. This year's Theme is "Going Postal". The subject has to be based on a postage stamp issued for mail service by a government entity. An image of the stamp must accompany the entry. Markings do not have to match.
