The ILK version is finally available in Singapore Miniature Hobby for S$65.90. However, I will wait for the RFM version (this one) before I buy both for comparison and build.

Checked the sprue parts for this version and it is one big bad news. The bad news is there is no engine (the whole purpose I waited for this version. Looks like I may need to push the timetable forward for the ILK version).

Finally available in Miniature Hobby. Oddly, this costs a lot less at S$41.90 which is S$24.00 less than the ILK one.

Well that is not bad ... not bad at all. There is no Mxxxx number of the RFM kit. It seems that kit is without any turret or similar on the picture of the RFM kit. Which kit from Miniature Hobby are you referring to? Maybe its not added to scalemates page yet.

The boxart does not show any turret but the sides of the box show the turret which is the same as the one on the older ILK kit (the next ILK kit has the M153 remote weapon system).

Miniature Hobby refers to Miniature Hobby International Pte Ltd. It is a model shop in Singapore and you can find its Facebook page by Googling it.

I might design the engine in 1/35 scale and post it online for free if someone buys me the kit.

Now that I have built this model and the ILK version, I noticed that the ILK version has the axle shafts and transfer case which are absent in the RFM version. In addition, there is no paint guide for the RFM version. Still, it may be a case you get what you pay which I have mentioned the cost in an earlier post.

The only JLTV left is the Sabre Model version which costs slightly more than the ILK version but has more parts and accessories.

So what the best kit in your opinion?
"Rye Field Model" is the most expensive if you buy the "JLTV upgrade set" with it. (92,42 euro)
"Saber Model" has everything in the box if you buy the Deluxe Edition, no unit at the back but a pallet with stuff. (75 euro)
"I love kit" has the axles shafts but no hoist on the front. (62,5 euro)
All prices are shipping costs included.
So I think despite the hoist on front of the JLTV the "I Love Kit" box is the best.
